Let’s be real—this world can feel harsh.

You’ve probably learned to put up walls, protect your heart, and assume people are out for themselves. And honestly? That’s often true.

But God's kingdom works differently. His culture is rooted in love—unshakable, pure, healing love.

In a world that wounds, God invites us to stay close to Him, where love leads, not fear or hate.

This week, we're learning how to live in that love… even when everything around us tells us not to trust it.

Week 1 Lesson for "How to Live A Beautiful Life"

Let's Do This Together: pgs. 10-17

This week is the foundation of your Beautiful Life journey. It’s all about choosing to live differently, according to God’s culture, not the world’s. That begins with Jesus.

Receiving God’s love is the foundation of living a powerful faith. But how do we actually receive love from someone we can’t see? The answer is prayer. Real, honest prayer.

It’s not about fancy words or getting everything “right.” Ask Him to fill your whole being with His love. Allow His love to saturate every corner of your heart.

When you invite God’s love in, you begin to experience His culture. It looks different than the world around us. While the world often loves with conditions or limits, God’s love is unconditional, steady, and trustworthy. No matter what we’ve done, His plans for us remain good. We can trust Him fully.

Reflection Questions

  • What does choosing Jesus really mean to me right now, in this season of my life?

  • When you think about God’s love being unchanging, how does that bring comfort or reassurance in your life?

  • What areas of your life feel hardest to believe God loves you in right now?

  • How can you invite God’s love into your daily routine through prayer this week?

  • In what ways can you reflect God’s culture of love to the people around you—family, friends, or even strangers?

Mental Health Minute:

Week 1: Unload (pg. 81)

How to Use Your Week 1 Unload Page

This week’s goal is simple—but powerful: connect with Jesus and let it all out.

Your Unload page is a space where you can talk with God about what’s really going on inside your heart. Don’t hold back. He already sees it all—and He cares deeply. Let this be your time to breathe, release, and receive His peace.

Here’s how to walk through your Week 1 Unload:

1. Start with Scripture

At the top of your page, read Hebrews 11:6 ESV out loud:

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

Take a moment to really let that sink in. God rewards those who come close to Him. This is your reward moment—being in His presence and opening your heart.

💡 Memory Challenge: Try to memorize Hebrews 11:6 this week. Write it down, say it before bed, or make it the lock screen on your phone!

2. Things I'm Grateful For

Gratitude shifts your heart and helps you see where God is already at work. Fill this space with simple things you’re thankful for—from your favorite song to the friend who checked on you this week.

3. Things to Work On

What’s been hard lately? Where do you want to grow? Be honest. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress and letting God be part of your transformation.

4. Things I'm Proud Of

Yes girl, this is where you celebrate you! Write down the good choices, the growth moments, or even the things you did afraid. Jesus is proud of you too.

5. Doodle Space

This area is all yours. Draw your week, sketch a cross or heart, or write a word that’s been on your mind. Let your creativity flow and worship Jesus in your own style.

6. Things to Let Go Of

We all carry stuff that weighs us down—regret, comparison, anxiety. Jesus invites you to hand it over. Write it here as a prayer of release. Let it go and trust God to carry what you weren’t meant to hold.

7. Prayers from the Heart

Now that you’ve unloaded your heart, talk to God about it. Write your prayers like a letter. You can be real, raw, and honest. Ask for His help, thank Him, or just tell Him how you’re feeling.

This page is about freedom. You don’t have to carry the pressure of being perfect. When you unload with Jesus, you make room for peace, healing, and joy. So take your time this week—and let Him meet you in every part of your story.

Remember: God’s culture is full of grace. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, He’s always inviting you back to His love. So this week, take the time to say yes. Not just once, but again, and again, and again.

You’re not doing this alone. We’re walking it out together—one page, one prayer, one brave step at a time.

Faithful Chicks Podcast Script:

Let’s be real—our world is full of different cultures, trends, and ways of thinking. But did you know God's Kingdom has a culture too? And it’s not built on status, popularity, or perfection.

Kingdom culture flows from love. Like, God's love that tells the truth, even when it hurts. It changes everything because God cares too much to leave you the same.

So What Does God’s Love Actually Look Like?

It’s not the shallow stuff we sometimes see on social media. God’s love goes way deeper than just good vibes or sweet words. His love shows up when you're at your worst and stays when others walk away.

He sees through your bad attitude or harsh behavior into who you really are. He knows you better than you know yourself because his love is so pure.

Here’s how the Bible describes it in 1 Corinthians 13:

“Love is patient and kind. Love doesn’t envy or brag. It’s not proud or rude. It doesn’t demand its own way. It’s not easily annoyed and doesn’t hold grudges. It doesn’t celebrate when things go wrong, but it celebrates the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always sticks it out. Love never fails.”(1 Corinthians 13:4–8, remix for clarity)

That’s not just a definition—it’s a glimpse into God’s heart. Every single word describes how He loves you. Patiently. Kindly. Faithfully. Without conditions.

Let’s be real—trying to understand God’s love with just our human perspective is like trying to see the stars through a foggy window. Without a supernatural connection to Him, we can’t fully grasp how deep, pure, and powerful His love, mercy, and grace really are.

See, we live in a world that’s been messed up by sin. That mess affects everything—including how we love. Our version of love, no matter how good it seems, is often mixed with selfishness, pride, or fear. But God’s love? It’s on a whole different level. His love is flawless. It’s holy. It never runs out. It never changes.

The amazing thing is, God wants us to experience that love for real—not just hear about it in a church service or read about it in a book. When you choose to surrender your life to Jesus, the Holy Spirit opens the door to something way bigger than yourself. It’s not just a “religion”—it’s a supernatural connection that brings you into God's Kingdom, where His love becomes real, personal, and life-changing.

But here's the thing: that connection is only available to those who believe. When you step into faith, you step into something eternal. You’re not just “being good”—you’re entering into a relationship with a God who loves you more than you could ever imagine.

So if you're searching for something real, something pure, something that doesn’t fade—God’s love is it. And it’s closer than you think.

God Isn’t Just About Rules—He’s About Relationship

Sometimes people relate to God through the tangible things that they understand like rules or judgment.

While there are rules to live by to keep order in God's kingdom. God is also just and everyone must appear before the judgement seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) that’s not the full story. God is:

  • Your Helper — "Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me." (Psalm 54:4) When life feels overwhelming, He’s the one holding you up.

  • Your Rescuer — "The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials." (2 Peter 2:9) He doesn’t leave you stuck. He steps in when you need saving.

  • Your Healer — "He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." (Psalm 103:3) From broken hearts to deep wounds, He brings healing that lasts.

He’s not distant or waiting for you to be “good enough.” He’s already with you, offering His love, His strength, and His peace.

Living in God’s Culture = Living Loved

When you accept God’s love, something shifts spiritually. You are changed in ways that you can't see in the physical, but you will experience things that are the fruit of the change.

You start seeing yourself differently. You start treating others differently. You begin to reflect the same love you’ve received—through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and courage.

It’s not about being perfect. Beware of people who try to make you feel that way. It's simply not true. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you live with the confidence that God's love that never fails, even if you do.

Romans 8:28 tells us that God works all things together for the good of those who love him. Even your failures and weakness can work together for good. The key is to surrender it to God. Ask him what he has to say about it. Then allow Jesus to lead you forward. It may take time, but trust him to do good things.

So if you’ve ever wondered where you belong, here’s your answer: You belong in God’s love. You were made for it. And when you live in it, you bring that love into the world around you.

 What Is God's Kingdom, Anyway?

When Jesus talks about the “kingdom of God,” He’s not just talking about heaven or some place far away. He’s talking about a superior reality where God rules.   A world where love wins, peace rules, and everything broken gets made right again.

And the wild part? Jesus says that this kingdom is near. Like, here and now. Not just for adults. Not just for when you die. But for YOU. Today.

 How Do You Get In?

Jesus gives two simple steps (but trust, they’re life-changing):

1. Repent

This means turning around. If you’ve been walking your own way, doing your own thing, and leaving God out—it’s time to move in God's direction. It’s not about feeling shame it’s about choosing to live differently.

Think of it like realizing you’ve been driving the wrong way on the highway. You don’t keep going—you turn around.

Often we don't even realize how messed up our mindset is because we are used to it. One place to stare it to recognize the places where you feel jealous, bitter, or even hateful.

Those feelings usually reveal something much deeper inside of you. Things that only God heal and restore.

If you're tired of the spin and/or the things going on in your mind, own up to it to God and ask his forgiveness.

In the surrender, you can see the dark clouds part in your mind to allow the light to come in.

You can trust God to forgive you.

2. Believe the Good News

What’s the good news? Jesus came to offer light and to rescue us.

For those who believe, He takes on our sin, and because of his death on the cross he paid the price, so he could free us from it. When he rose again he create a new pathway to connection with God and the ability to start living from his kingdom now.

Believing means trusting that what Jesus did is enough, and that He wants you in His kingdom, to be part of his family.

What Does Life in God’s Kingdom Look Like?

Life in God’s kingdom is next-level. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with his righteousness, peace, and joy (Romans 14:17).

Accept the faith and blessing that God has offered you. Recognize that he is the one that made a way for you to be a part of his kingdom. All you had to do was accept. Remember to share what you have found with others.

Here’s what changes as you learn to live from a kingdom mindset:

  • You live with peace even when things feel crazy.

  • You know you’re loved—like, fully and completely.

  • You start to care more about people, because God does.

  • You walk through life with Jesus as your King, not just someone you hear about at church.

As you begin to make choices that line up with God's kingdom, the chaos and mess of this world loses it's grip on you. God upgrades your life, so you can walk in freedom and hope.

 Final Thoughts

Jesus isn’t waiting for you to “have it all together.” He’s inviting you right now into something amazing.

So here’s the question:👉 Are you ready to turn around and follow the King?

The kingdom is near—and it’s yours for the taking.

Let’s talk: What’s one way you can live more like you’re in God’s kingdom this week? Drop a thought in the comments or message a friend about it!

Challenge for the Week: Take one verse from 1 Corinthians 13 and try to live it out each day. Whether it’s patience with a sibling or kindness to someone who’s hurting—show love like God does.

Ask God to show you what happens inside you and to the world around you when you share his love with others.

Draw, write, sing about the ways that it changes the world around you.

Remember: You’re loved. You’re seen. And you’re made for a beautiful life.
