WE BELIEVE ~ AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
We believe that local women’s and girl’s ministries can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperating with each other. Such organizations, exist and function by the attempt to fulfill the great commission laid out in Matthew 28: 18-20. Cooperation in CHICKS is voluntary and may be terminated at any time. Ministries may likewise cooperate with interdenominational fellowships on a voluntary, independent basis.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts; that it was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

ABOUT KELLY
KELLY KIRSTEIN
FOUNDER
Author and Speaker Kelly Kirstein lives with her husband on an acreage in small town Iowa. She has three adult children. She began her career as an elementary teacher with plans to use her master’s degree to be a school principal.

After the hardest season on her life, God called Kelly to give up her career to stay home with her children. Shortly after, God put it on her heart to mentor pregnant teens.
​
In 2010, Kelly started Chicks Ministry with $100 of her own money, with a vision to help young women turn their life around with Jesus.
​
As Chicks continued to grow, Kelly pursued a variety of classes ranging from business, marketing, building online platform, and online ministry school. In 2021, Chicks Ministry moved into its own building. It still amazes Kelly that God could give her a vision for a ministry, and then show her how to build it piece by piece.
ABOUT CHICKS MINISTRY
In 2010, Kelly hosted the first Chicks meeting in the public library. 20 young women came. The next year the Chicks Meetings moved to Kelly's church. In 2021, Chicks Ministry moved to their own building at 121 5th Ave NW Clarion, Iowa 50525.

Over the last 11 years, Chicks has expanded to a worldwide ministry with the vision to inspire teen girls to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ in their own unique way.
​
God has provided everything from finances to the lesson Kelly teaches. Time and again, young women have found healing and freedom where they should have been destroyed. Through the power of Christ, they discover more love, strength, and influence than they ever imagined.
