Sometimes when you are actively participating in behavior that is harmful or wrong, it can literally suck the joy right out of your heart. Be careful what you watch. Listen to. Get involved in.
Sin. Makes you heart sick.

What behaviors or activities are sucking the joy out of your life?
What other changes will you have to make, if you want to get rid of that joy sucker?
Prayer
God, you are the one who can bring joy back to my crushed spirit. Help me to recognize things that I am doing that suck the joy out of my life. Then put the desire in me to get rid of those things. Please help me understand how sinful things hurt me. For some reason I don't want to let go of them even though I know I should. I am sorry for that. Thank you for loving me even when I do things I shouldn't. I love you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
