How Do You Know if Your Heart is in Line with the Spirit's Leading?
First commit your heart to obey God. Pray sharing your heart and asking the Lord for help.
What does scripture say about it? It's important to love your Bible. It teaches you the language of the Lord. Remember that the Holy Spirit will never lead in a way that goes against scripture.
If you are feeling bitter, angry, upset or any other negative emotion, deal with that before you make any decisions.
Talk to a mentor or wise Christian friend about how your feeling led to get their thoughts before you make a big decision
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control Galatians 5:22-23
