Are you struggling? Talk to the Father, rather than sitting in an emotional spin.

God created emotions:

1. Remember Jesus had emotions. He cried over the death of Lazarus. He also got angry

2. Scripture & Jesus' example teaches us to bring our emotions to God in prayer.

3. Emotions can be tied to desires, which can lead us off track.

4. Emotions aren't bad, they were never meant to lead us.

5. Negative emotions can actually be the thing that is blocking us from deep connection with God. Those need to be healed.

"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God," John 1:12 ESV  

Food for Thought:

Emotions cannot always be trusted because they lie sometimes.

• Have you ever thought someone was mad at you or made up a story in your head about a look they gave you?

• That was your emotions leading you. God created emotions. Let him guide you and understand what your feeling.
