Learn to Calm Your System

Grab a Journal or Notebook to Process

Irritation and Offense can rest in our hearts waiting to unleash on people. Most of us know when it's happening. The key is to put a stop to the words that flow out when we are irritated with someone.

What To Do When You Feel Irritable or Harsh.

  1. Stop & Breath

  2. Say a prayer to break connection with irritation. Ask Holy Spirit to fill you with peace.

  3. Do not allow yourself to say mean things. Either stay quiet or slip away until you regain control.

Remember, God loves the person you are going to hurt with your words. He gave His Only Son for them. It is not okay for you to say harsh things to them.

Do Not Justify Being Harsh or Make Excuses. If you slip up Apologize to the person.
