Start Your Own Group to Make Studying More Fun

This post helps you start the conversation with friends. It helps set some ground rules for your group. You can also find the promo link at the end of this post.




  1. Do I have to buy a journal? I recommend that you purchase a journal to get the full experience of the study. While there are Journal Ideas to help you through each week, many of the reflection pages are not included because they are personal to each individual.

  • I know I won't take the time to journal. As I tell the young women in my high school Bible Study, I want you to show up each week, even if you haven't done the homework. You will still get something out of the discussion and the questions people ask. We all have to start somewhere.

  1. Once you are done reading this post click Done in the top left corner.

  2. Find the Study Tab in your App. It should be underlined. If it's not click on it.

  3. Scroll down until you see the list of posts. Click the Things Teens Should Know: Study Plan Table of Contents This post has links to everything you need to complete each week.

  4. Click Week 1: Journal Ideas. In the Week 1 post you will find the scripture for each page and things to help you. This is your journey, so don't be afraid to get things wrong or to write your real thoughts.

What if I don't have a lot to say about the verse on the page?

  1. That's okay. What else is on your mind? There are many benefits to spending time with Jesus. The idea of our study is help to you build connection and relationship with Jesus. Don't overthink it!
