Welcome! We are so glad you're here.

Who Is this Study For?

This study is for teen girls who want to know Jesus in a real, everyday way. You don’t need all the answers or a strong faith to start; just a willingness to show up as you are.

If you’re navigating school, friendships, emotions, and faith all at once, this space is for you.

What to Do First

  1. Download the Chicks Ministry for Teens App.

    1. Create An Account.

    2. Under the Study Tab Find the Just A Girl Button. This will always take you to the table on contents posts that is listed in pink below. Everything you need is there.

    3. Just A Girl Who Loves Jesus: Simple Bible Study. Table of Contents

Weekly Blog Posts help you study

  1. The Faithful Chicks Podcast.

  2. A Weekly Lesson. Each week, Kelly Kirstein breaks down what you’re learning in Just a Girl Who Loves Jesus through relatable stories and honest questions designed to help you think deeper and connect with God personally.

  3. Mental Health Minute. This is a short pause each week designed to help you check in with your thoughts, emotions, and inner world in a gentle, safe way. It helps you connect what you’re feeling to God’s love so your faith grows alongside your emotional health.

  4. Additional Reflection Questions. They help you think more deeply about the lesson and apply it to your real life. They are meant to guide your journaling, spark honest conversations with God, and help the truth of the study sink in.

Start Your Own Group to Make Studying More Fun

This post helps you start the conversation with friends. It helps set some ground rules for your group. You can also find the promo link at the end of this post.

  1. Do I have to buy a journal? You can learn a lot from the Podcast and the Instagram Live sessions. They do not contain all the content in the journal.

  2. I know I won't take the time to journal. As I tell the young women in my high school Bible Study, I want you to show up each week, even if you haven't done the homework. You will still get something out of the discussion and the questions people ask. We all have to start somewhere.

What if I don't have a lot to say in my journal?

  1. That's okay. What else is on your mind? There are many benefits to spending time with Jesus. The idea of our study is help to you build connection and relationship with Jesus. Don't overthink it!

  2. Check out the 5 Benefits of Faith Journaling below.
