Set Your Heart and Mind on The Truth Of Who You Are!
Ask the Holy Spirit to soak your heart and mind with these truths. When you spend time with the Holy Spirit, I bet you will be able to feel his presence. Don't be afraid. Let him cover you in his love.
Read each bold statement and the scripture that backs it up several times. Write each one on a seperate notecard and plan to read them each day. This truth will help you stand strong in the battle against suicidal thoughts.
God loves me.
"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19
God chose me.
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9
I am God's daughter because I chose Jesus as my Savior.
"But to all who did receive him (Jesus), who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God," John 1:12
Prayer of Alignment with the Heart of God: Holy Spirit help me live in alignment with these truths. Let the words that I say and the thoughts that I think line up with who I am as a follower of Christ. When harsh or negative thoughts come, remind me that God wouldn't say that about me. Then help me say, "God loves me. He chose me. "I'm his daughter."
