Want a More Peaceful Internal World? Pray to be more like Jesus

• Jesus set his heart and mind on doing the will of the Father. He gave us the best example of how to develop close relationship with God.

• The more closely we align ourselves to think and act like him the more we will see God's power displayed in our lives.

• As you renew your thinking be sure to share what you have found with others. It will only intensify and grow what God is doing in your life.

Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. John 5:19 NIV

So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. John 8:28 ESV

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV

"The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ."
