Bring It Into Play
Did you mess up?
-Are you ready to be done with the mess? To walk in freedom?
It’s easy to get caught up in things. In the moment, the exhilaration outweighs the consequences.
Everyone else seems to get away with it. They are fine. —-You’re not fine.—- You’re are tired of the secrets. The lies. Don’t hide the mess until you get caught. It only makes it bigger.
Action Step
...Own up to what you did. First to Jesus. Next to a parent or mentor. Then to any other people who needs to know.
Ownership and confession allow you to hand the load to Jesus. He will take it and show you how to walk out of the mess.
Although you are forgiven, you may have to face consequences in this world. Depending on the size of the mess, the consequences could be big. Remember that you won’t be facing them alone.
Jesus will be with you every step. Helping you to strip off the things that caused the mess, until you are completely free.
Be Brave. Your freedom is worth it.
Prayer
God. I am so grateful that your grace and love are bigger than my mistakes. I know what I did was wrong. Help me to be honest about it and stop the cycle. Give me the strength to face the consequence. Then allow me to move forward and learn from my mistakes. Thank you for not holding my mistakes against me. I love you so much. In Jesus Name, Amen.
