Bring It Into Play
Batteries low. What helps you get energized?
Amazingly. We are all made different. For some taking a nap does the trick. Creating an art project. Others a hike in nature makes all the difference.
The ultimate recharge comes when you include God in the experience. Meaning. Whatever you do, talk to Him and ask Him to fill you up. Choose music, books, movies that draw your mind into connection with God.
When you seek to energize yourself through Him, you will come away peaceful and refreshed. “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. Create Isaiah 40:28-31 in a fun way. Draw a picture. Write It Out in Sharpie. Make a word picture on you iPad. Do it in your own unique way.
Prayer
God, I love the words of Isaiah 40:28-31. Help me to remember to go to you to find my energy and to use my gifts with you to energize my spirit. I know that you are the creator of the earth and everything that is good. Use me to help other people understand this when they are struggling and worn out. I am amazed by you. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
