Avoid Trigger Subjects & Engaging in Conflict

Trigger Subjects Are Different for Every Family, but here are a few examples.

  • Politics

  • Past Arguments

  • Criticizing People

  • Pointing Out Embarrassing Things.

Did You Get Triggered? Suggestions to help you calm down.

  • Choose Not to Engage

  • Remain Silent & Take calming breaths

  • Go to the Restroom, Get Some Air, or Grab a Snack. This gives you space.

  • Say a quick prayer. Ask God to help you remain peaceful by staying back from the conflict.
