Bring It Into Play
Relationships. Are you looking for a fling? Or a lasting relationship? Maybe even love?
Lasting relationships come from building a friendship with a guy. Healthy love grows out of friendship.
Throw sex or sexual stuff in the mix right away. You will just be his latest hook up. Or part of a dysfunctional love relationship. Guys that are willing to go on dates and spend time getting to know you are looking for a relationship. Healthy relationships start there. If he doesn’t want to get to know you and wants to be alone, that’s a red flag. You are headed for trouble.
If you are using your body or sex to get guys attention, you are sending the message that you are up for a fling. Don’t allow guys to use you. You are worth more than that!
So if you truly want a healthy relationship. Pursue real love, not sex.
Build a friendship with a guy. Wait on the intimacy. You will save yourself a lot of heartache.
Prayer
Father. I want to find love like you love. In my heart, I desire a relationship that honors you. Where we spend time building a connection through friendship. Then if it is your will, lead it into love. Keep me away from the temptation of sex or sexual things. Help me to protect my heart until you say it is the time to give it away. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
