Bring It Into Play

Try spending time coloring and praying.

Put on your headphones. Turn on some music. Then relax into a conversation with God.

As you color, talk to God about all the things swirling around in your mind. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you up and to push out the negative feelings.

Ask God to take it all. And to restore your peace.

Visualize light all around you. Darkness has to leave as light comes in.

Spend time soaking in the light. Allow it to wash over you and heal your hurt.

Prayer

Lord, the holiday season can be so hard. Restore my peace. I know I need to follow Jesus. I want the His light in my life. Will you show me how to do that? I can't do it by myself. I want the light to soak into my heart. To heal the broken places. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
