Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don’t yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ. Ephesians 4:31-32 (CEV)
Bring It Into Play
Disagreements. They happen all the time.
Are you able to see past your perspective. To have empathy for how others feel?
Or do you tend to think you are always right?
Selfishness fuels anger. It gives the enemy an open door to take your mind places it should never go.
Causing you to dishonor God with your thoughts and actions.
Next time you disagree with someone, try to look at it from their perspective. Ask God to soften your heart. To help you understand what He wants you to do.
Hey God. It is hard for me to see the other person's side when I am angry. I know sometimes I am selfish. Help me to recognize when I am being selfish. Let me have empathy and kindness like Jesus. Thanks for being there for me. Protect my thoughts. I love you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
