“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another,” Hebrews 10:24-25.
Bring It Into Play
Having trouble connecting with people? All you want to do is mindlessly stare at a screen.
Put the phone down, stay off your favorite app, and actually go connect with people in person. It is to easy to sit behind a screen and comment on people’s stuff or send a snap that makes life look awesome.
The problem is that you don’t get the connection you would talking and laughing with friends face to face.
Be deliberate about encouraging and loving your friends, when you are together. You kindness will help build strong friendships.
Make plans with friends today! Put your phone away. Enjoy time with them.
God, sometimes I feel so empty. It is horrible feeling. Help me to recognize when I am getting to that point, so I can fill up on your Holy Spirit and make an effort to connect with my friends. Thanks for being there for me. I love you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
