Be Present in the Moment.

With phones and social media, it is easy to miss what is happening right in front of you. This robs you of the connections made during awesome experiences and the emotions that lead to happy memories.

Once in a while, instead of worrying about taking photos, just grab onto the moment and enjoy it. It will help you find your joy!

Action Step:

Recall one of your happiest moments.

Create something that represents all the emotions you felt.

Who was with you? How did that experience bring you closer to that person?

When you are sad, sometimes it helps to imagine being in that moment again. Close your eyes and visualize the joy and happiness. Then remember that there will be more joyous moments ahead.

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22



Dear God, you are the marvelous creator. You created love, joy, peace and all the good things in life. I am so grateful for all the amazing joyous moments in my life. Help me to hold onto those, so that when bad days come I know it will only be temporary. Remind my heart that it won't hurt forever. That you have good things up ahead. Thanks for sending your Son Jesus to make a way for me. I love you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
