Bring It Into Play
Relationships. Have you ever considered that the type of guy you date will end up being the type of guy you marry?
Does he respect you? Or do you make excuses for his bad behavior?
Does he flirt with other girls? Or blow you off until he wants something from you?
Do you want a husband who loves and respects you someday? Then start by building a relationship with a guy who respects you and will make sacrifices for you like this says, “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,” Ephesians 5:25.
This will not be easy to find, but it is worth the wait!
Action Step:
Find a notebook or a journal. Begin writing out the things you hope to find in a husband some day.
Think about how you would like him to treat you.
Do you want him to have a relationship with God?
What type of house to do you hope to have? Kids?
While you do this also share your thoughts with God.
Prayer
God, you have so many amazing plans for my life. I want you to chose my husband and even the boys I date. Help me to see when you are bringing someone into my life. If someone likes me that isn't from you, help me see that too. It is not easy to find a young man that follows Jesus, but I know you bring him into my life. I can trust you. Help me to learn to love you first before anyone else. Love You! In Jesus Name, Amen.
